MERCEDES ELECTRICAL TRAINING 2020
This seminar covers a variety of subjects based on Mercedes Benz electrical systems including:
- Battery types: lead acid to the latest Lithium ion used in late production models.
- Dual Batteries System; 5 new systems, description and operational differences.
- Dual Charging Systems needed to accommodate the different battery types listed.
- Explanation of Dual Battery Control Systems, with descriptions of new components and how
they are utilized together to provide for today’s On-Board Electrical Demand needed in
the newer Mercedes Benz Vehicles.
We cover some basic training on the use of:
- Voltage, Amperage and Resistance testing for fault tracing and component electrical testing.
- Introduction and functions of new electrical components on later models:
- F63 Pyro fuses
- MF1 Multi circuit fuses and their usage
- R62 Voltage dip limiters
- N83/1 DC DC converters for 12v to 48v and more
Web ETM
- Live ETM using the latest wiring diagrams. This will be done with student’s participation
